Matthew
John the Baptist says of Jesus that he will baptise with fire and the
Holy Spirit. Fire is a central image of the "Merkavah", the
Holy Spirit's presence being both flame and rainbow light.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the Sons of
G-D.
Do not swear, either by heaven, for it is G-Ds Throne, or by the
earth, for it is his Footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of
the Great King.
Unless you humble yourself and become like little children, you will never
enter the Kingdom of Heaven. See that you do not look down on these
little ones. I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face
of my Father in heaven.
I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man
sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on
12 thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel.
Parable of the Workers of the Vineyard: I want to give man who I hired
last the same as I gave you. The last will be first, and the first last.

Note : This alludes to the design where both Jew and Gentile have
the same status in the structure (Kingdom) even though the Jew has
"borne the burden of the work."

The sun will be darkened, and the
moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the
heavenly bodies will be shaken.
At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky and all
the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming
on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send
his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from
the 4 winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the
sheep from the goats.
