Gateway Entrance width 10 cubits and length 13 cubits.

Architect's Note : Measurements of the "Holy Precinct" the Solomonic Temple ratio of 5 : 20 : 10 (Porch : Priest Chamber : Most Holy Place). The 13 cubit measurement is structural.

Space before chambers, 1 cubit on this side and that side. Chambers 6 cubits this side and that side.

 


vs 12 (NIV) :


Front of Alcove, 1 cubit high wall, Alcoves/Chambers 6 cubits square.

Architect's Note : 1 Cubit measurement is the structural measurement for the entire structure. It surrounds the chambers and everything else.
