30 rooms along the pavement. (4 x 7 chambers and 2 courtyards).

The pavement by the side of the gates over against the length of the gates was the lower pavement.

It abutted the sides of the gateways and was as wide as they were long: this was the lower pavement.

Architect's Note : The geometry defines the position and relationship of old and new pavement, so too the positioning of gateway edges.

The breadth from the forefront of the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, 100 cubits east and north.

Inside of lower gateway to outside of inner court, 100 cubits on the east and the north.
